| Abstract | Bakalárska práca sa zameriava na žáner road movie a jeho aplikácie. Práca identifikuje kľúčové rysy road movie a jeho základné žánrové konvencie, zhrňuje zdroje a historický vývoj tohto žánru. Druhá časť práce je orientovaná analyticky. Na príkladoch filmov Nebraska (Alexander Payne, 2013) a Zlomené kvety (Jim Jarmusch, 2005) analýza odhaľuje, ako dvaja z najvýraznejších súčasných amerických režisérov so žánrom road movie pracujú a originálnym spôsobom využívajú jeho prvky. |
| Translation of abstract | The bachelor thesis focuses on the genre of road movie and its applications. The thesis identifies the genre´s key traits and conventions, summarizes the sources and historical development of the genre. The secon part of the thesis is analytically-oriented. Based on the examples of films Nebraska (Alexander Payne, 2013) and Broken flowers (Jim Jarmusch, 2005), the analysis shows how two of the most distinct contemporary american directors work with the genre of road movie and employ its elements in an original way. |
