| Abstract | Prezentace české kultury a umění v zahraničí probíhá ve dvou základních liniích - na bázi soukromé a vládní. Ve své práci jsem se soustředila na roli státu a vládních institucí v této oblasti, na pozici kultury jako takové ve společenské struktuře a zároveň na pozici zahraniční prezentace a mezinárodní spolupráce v koncepcích kulturní politiky a v systému financování kultury. Práce je rozdělena v podstatě do dvou částí - nejprve hledáv ve státní struktuře zázemí pro domácí projekty, které tvoří základ pro kvalitní zahraniční prezentaci ("aby bylo co prezentovat"), a podporu pro projekty mezinárodní spolupráce, poté se zabývám "marketngovou strategií ČR", zahraniční politikou v oblasti kultury, tím, jak vláda přistupuje k zahraniční prezentaci obecně a jaké místo zde hraje kultura. V závěru vybírám několik zajímavých paralel s Velkou Británií. |
| Translation of abstract | Presentation of Czech culture and art abroad has two different basis - private and public (or political). In my thesis I concentrate on the role of state and government institutions in this field, on the position of culture itself in the social structure and also on position of the presentation abroad and international cooperation in the cultural policy conceptions and in the funding system of culture. The thesis is basically divided in two parts - at first I search the basement for national cultural activities which are the source of good presentation abroad ("so that we have something to present") and the support for projects of international cooperation in the Czech government structure, then I deal with "marketing strategy of the Czech republic", foreign policy in the cultural field and with the way Czech government treats with the foreign presentation generally and the role of culture there. At theend I chose several interesting parallels from Great britain. |
