| Abstract | Tato teoretická práce se zaměřuje na žánr road movie. Konkrétně na jeho zpracování v české kinematografii. Pracuje s předpokladem, že české prostředí není pro tento žánr, vycházející ze specifického geografického i kulturního prostředí Ameriky, příliš vhodné. Analýzou několika vybraných českých road movie zkoumá, jak tyto filmy s žánrem, jeho znaky a postupy pracují a zároveň se snaží původní předpoklad potvrdit, nebo vyvrátit. |
| Translation of abstract | The thesis focuses on the genre of road movies and its use in the Czech cinema. It develops around the precondition that Czech settings are not convenient for the genre which originates in the specific geographical environment and cultural background of the United States. By analyzing several selected Czech road movies and their use of the rules and features characteristic for the genre, it attempts to prove whether the above precondition holds, or not. |
