| Abstract | Tato práce je případovou studií, která se zabývá regenerací periferní částí hlavního města Prahy působením kultury. Studie se odkazuje na teorii tzv. kreativních měst a vychází z předpokladu, že kvalitní kulturní a společenské prostředí dokáže deprivovanou lokalitu přeměnit na pulsující a atraktivní životní prostředí. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny argumenty obhajující význam kultury a umění pro oživení a rozvoj měst či regionů. Druhá část práce je věnována shrnutí poznatků a analýze situace konkrétního prostředí, kterým je sídliště Jižní Město. Poslední textový oddíl přináší strategický plán řešení, jak této regenerace dosáhnout, a detailně se věnuje také popisu institucionálního nástroje, jenž je hlavní součástí regeneračního procesu. |
| Translation of abstract | This thesis is a case study, which deals with the regeneration of a peripheral part of the capital city of Prague by culture. The study refers to the theory of a so-called creative cities and is based on the assumption that high-quality cultural and social environment can transform deprived location on a vibrant and attractive environment. In the theoretical part are given arguments advocating the importance of culture and art for the recovery and development of cities or regions. The second part of the thesis is devoted to a summary of findings and analysis of the specific situation of settlement of South City. The last section gives a strategic plan addressing how to achieve this regeneration, and also focuses on a detailed description of the institutional instruments, which is the main part of the regeneration process. |
