| Abstract | CERN neboli Továrna na absolutno je satiricko-dokumentární snímek o největším hadronovém urychlovači na světě (LHC), který se nachází pod švýcarsko-francouzskými hranicemi. Pomocí urychlovače chtějí vědci simulovat situaci krátce po tzv. Velkém třesku a získat tak základní informace o složení hmoty a odhalit poslední záhady vesmíru. Před pozadím prvního spuštění LHC v září 2008 se v úvodní části časosběrného dokumentu zabýváme hned několika závažnými momenty, jako je historický popis instituce CERN, vysvětlení experimentů a očekávaných výsledků, vylíčení technologické náročnosti projektu apod. V neposlední řadě se zmiňujeme o rizikách lidské hybris. Tento unikátní dokumentární snímek vznikl jako absolventský snímek pražské FAMU (katedry dokumentární tvorby) a je koncipován jako časosběrný projekt. |
| Translation of abstract | CERN or The Factory For the Absolute is a documentary film about the Large Hadron Collider in the world (LHC), which is located under the French - Swiss border. With the help of this accelerator the scientists want to simulate the situation shortly after the so-called Big Bang. As a result they hope to get basic information about the structure of mass and get to know the last secrets of the universe. On the background of the first LHC beam injection in September 2008, we take a closer look at many serious questions to be explored. At first, the historical introduction of the CERN institution, explanation of the experiments and their expected results and introduce the technological severity of the project. Of course we also discuss the question of possible risks of these activities that are reigned by human hybris. This unique documentary film is Jan V. Sachers thesis film from the documentary department at FAMU in Prague and is planed to be a longitudal documentart project. |
