| Abstract | Práce chce odpovědět na otázku, co nás učí maska. Popisuje a interpretuje herecké a divácké zkušenosti s různými typy masek a ukazuje, v čem byly pro herce i diváka poučné. V první části vysvětluje pojmy maska a učení. Ve druhé popisuje zkušenost s neutrální maskou a principy práce s ní. Třetí část je o setkání s definovanou (ne-neutrální) maskou: líčí zkušenost s groteskní maskou při přípravě kolektivní autorské prezentace scén z Büchnerova Vojcka a užití hlavových masek v britské dokumentární inscenaci A Brave Face. V závěru se zamýšlí nad užíváním masky v současném západním divadle a vlivem masky na zdivadelnění divadla. |
| Translation of abstract | The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of what the mask can teach us. It describes and interprets the actor's and spectator's experiences with different types of masks and shows in which ways they are instructive and educative for the actor as well as for the spectator. The first part explains the meaning of mask and the meaning of teaching. The second part describes experiences with the neutral mask and main principles of working with the mask. The third part encounters a non-neutral mask: it depicts experiences with a grotesque mask during the process of creating scenes from Buchner’s Woyzeck – a collective author's presentation – and the use of character masks in the British documentary production A Brave Face. Finally, the thesis reflects using masks in the contemporary western theater and the influence of the mask for „theatralization“ of the theater. |
