| Translation of abstract | The object of this thesis is to decribe the situation in the 19th century music scene in relation to the oboe repertoire. Specifies the status of the oboe and its developement during this period. It focuses on works by Robert Schumann written in 1849, especially the Three romances op. 94 and the Fünf Stücke im Volkston op. 102. Describes also the Three romances op. 22 by Clara Wieck -Schumann. Contains the biography of both Clara and Robert Schumann. |
