| Abstract | Autorský film je pokusem o bizarní žánrový hybrid mezi pseudodokumentem a pseudodramatem. Má napodobit (a do jisté míry zparodovat) styl přírodovědných pořadů z produkce stanic National Geographic nebo BBC, které jsou většinou založeny na tom, že komentář zdánlivě zachycuje autentické dění na plátně, ve skutečnosti však bývá materiál šikovně a manipulativně sestříhán na míru textu. Komentář se snaží o falešné zdání odbornosti a senzačnosti. Objev století, který ?dokumentární? část přináší, je ve skutečnosti naprosto banální. Se stejnou nadsázkou je pojata ilustrační, náladu dodávající hudba, jistá křečovitost i patřičný patos, podobným dokumentům vlastní. |
| Translation of abstract | Science expedition into the jungle found (on the original site of human village) biological species, which has behaviors awfully similar to man?s... The film is an attempt to bizarre genre hybrid between pseudocument and pseudodrama. Is to imitate (and to to parody) style of science shows produced by National Geographic or the BBC stations, which are largely based on sedminy that commentary is desribing actual events on screen. In fact, however, the footage is manipulatively edited to text. In Uberanimal the commentary tries to fake the appearance of expertise and sensation. The great discovery of the century, which the "documentary" part shows, is actually quite banal. With the same hyperbole are conceived also other elements similar to these types of documentaries: illustrative (the mood delivering) music, some covulsivennes and pathos. |
