| Abstract | V této práci jsem se pokusila ve stručnosti shrnout život a práci Sergeje Vasiljeviče Rachmaninova. Byla to jedna z nejvýraznějších postav první poloviny 20. století. Dosáhl nejvyšší posty v oboru skladatelském , interpretačním i dirigentském. Důkazem, jaký výborný klavírista byl, jsou četné nahrávky. Zajímavostí však je, že ten kdo si dal práci s jejich renovací, bali Japonci. Díky nim máme dnes možnost slyšet a posoudit mistrovství, vyjímečnou muzikalitu a technickou dokonalost. Na poli skladatelském patří jeho klavírní skladby k vrcholům pianismu. Jeho III. klavírní koncert je považován za vrchol interpretačního umění. Všechny své čtyři klavírní koncerty i Rapsodii na Paganiniho téma, Rachmaninov natočil s dirigenty E. Ormandym a L. Stokowským. Jeho 2. klavírní koncert se stal , vedla Čajkovského, nejhranějším koncertem. Opery zůstaly trochu ve stínu těchto slavných skladeb, ale je otázkou, zda se dočkáme nových provedení, které by vyzdvihli jejich vysokou hodnotu. |
| Translation of abstract | In this work I attempt to summarize the life and work of Sergei Vasiljevič Rachmaninov. He was one of the most important figures of the first half of the twentieth century. He achieved the highest posts as a composer, an interpreter and conductor. Proof of his exquisite piano playing are numerous recording which we still have today. It is interesting to note that it was the Japanese who first attempted to restore these recordings. Thanks to them, we are able to hear and appreciate the mastery, exceptional musicianship and technicel perfection of Rachmaninov. His piano works are at the pinnacie of the composition Word. His third piano concert is thought of as the apex of interpretative art. He recorded all of his four piano concerts including Rhapsody on Paganini´s theme, under the battons of E. Ormandym and L. Stokowki. His second piano concert alongside Tchaikovsky is the most played concert ever.l His operas remain somewhat in the shadow of his other famous compositions; however it is only a question of time until we shall witness new productions which will bear ligth on their merit. |
