| Abstract | Tato práce se zabývá nejen problematikou financování orchestrů, ale i kulturními systémy obecně, a to v rozdílných státech, společnostech a kulturách. Pro účely srovnání těchto systémů mezi sebou a zároveň pro určité vztaţení na poměry České republiky jsem vybral orchestry Wiener Philharmoniker, Berliner Philharmoniker a Concertgebouworkest v Amsterdamu jako zástupce kontinentální Evropy; New York Philharmonic společně s Chicago Symphony Orchestra ze Spojených států amerických; a London Symphony Orchestra z prostředí Velké Británie, která je svým způsobem dělící čárou mezi evropským a americkým světem. Cílem práce je vypracovat srozumitelný přehled nejzásadnějších charakteristik výše zmíněné problematiky. |
| Translation of abstract | This study deals not only with orchestras financing issues but also with culture systems in general, and it does so in different states, societies and cultures. For the purposes of the systems comparison and at the same time for relating it to the Czech Republic environment, I have chosen the orchestras of Wiener Philharmoniker, Berliner Philharmoniker and Concertgebouworkest in Amsterdam as the representatives of continental Europe; New York Philharmonic together with Chicago Symphony Orchestra from the USA; and London Symphony Orchestra from Great Britain as the border line between the European and the American world. The aim of this study is to formulate a comprehensible overview of the most important characteristics of the above mentioned issues. |
