| Abstract | Smyslem práce je hráčům přiblížit problematiku poučené interpretace hry orchestrálních partů bicích nástrojů s ohledem na vývoj literatury, instrumentáře, techniky hry a chápání bicích nástrojů v historickém kontextu. Inspirovat je ke studiu širších souvislostí partů a díky novým poznatkům podat v orchestru lepší výkon a koncert si i více užít. Práce je strukturována chronologicky podle jednotlivých slohových období do čtyř kapitol. Každá začíná zařazením do historického kontextu doby a vylíčením jejích interpretačních specifik. Popsána je stručná charakteristika vývoje orchestru a role bicích nástrojů v něm. Dále jsou popsány nejdůležitější nové nástroje či fenomény každého období, které ilustrují použité obrazové materiály. Na příkladech orchestrálních partů jsou představeny nejcharakterističtější momenty z repertoáru orchestrálních bicích nástrojů. |
| Translation of abstract | The purpose of this thesis is to introduce the issue of erudite musical interpretation of the orchestral parts of percussion instruments to musicians, with regard to history of literature, instruments, playing techniques, and understanding percussion instruments in historical context. Moreover the purpose is also to inspire musicians to study their parts in a broader context, which would lead them to better performance and enable them to enjoy themselves and music even more. The thesis is divided into four chapters, based on the chronological order of the historical periods. Each chapter begins with a description of the historical context of the period in question and explanation of its interpretation characteristics. Furthermore, the evolution of the symphonic orchestra and the role of percussion instruments in it is analysed. Moreover, the most important new instruments and phenomena of each period are outlined. Each chapter is also accompanied by pictures. With the help of examples from orchestral scores, the most characteristic moments from the percussion instruments’ repertoire are described. |
