| Abstract | Cílem bakalářské práce Jaromír Weinberger, život a dílo je podat ucelený stručný přehled o tomto téměř neznámém, byť významném českém skladateli. Text poskytuje v době vydání patrně nejkompletnější seznam dostupné literatury a pramenů, které se dají použít jako východisko pro budoucí bádání. Nejvíce prostoru je věnováno životopisu, v tomto rozsahu v českém jazyce dosud nepublikovaném. Mezi jednotlivými životními událostmi Jaromíra Weinbergra jsou zmíněny podstatné skladby konkrétních období. Zvláštní péče je věnována autorově nejslavnější opeře Švanda dudák. Práce obsahuje také přehled kompozic pro obsazení housle a klavír a stručný rozbor tří českých tanců pro tyto nástroje. Na nich jsou dokumentovány některé aspekty Weinbergrovy kompoziční práce. Text je uzavřen subjektivním hodnocením Weinbergra v kontextu české hudební kultury. |
| Translation of abstract | The aim of the bachelor thesis Jaromír Weinberger, Life and Work is to offer basic facts about a practically unknown (though important) Czech composer. The text presents probably the most comprehensive list of literature that can be used as a good starting point in later researches. The most extensive part of the work includes biographical data that have not been published in the Czech language in this scope yet. The most important compositions along with the crucial moments of Jaromír Weinberger´s life are mentioned here. Among others special attention is paid to his best known opera Švanda dudák. The work also contains a survey of compositions for violin and piano, as well as a short musical analysis of three parts of České písně a tance for these instruments with some basic aspects of the Weinberger's style. The thesis is finished with personal evaluation of Jaromír Weinberger´s work in the context of the Czech musical culture. |
