| Abstract | "Smrt je zlo - tak bozi uznali: vždyť, kdyby byla krásná, sami by zmírali." (Sapfó) V záhrobí není odpočinku. Svět živých je moc lákavý na to, aby se mrtví spokojili s klidem věčnosti. Na život Kitky padl stín mramorové desky, která zabila její matku. Po letech izolace od světa příchází čas pro střet se sebou samotnou. Čelit dospělosti je mnohem těžší, když se do všeho pletou živí a mrtví členové rodiny, tajemná věštkyně a první nesmělá láska. |
| Translation of abstract | "Death is an evil, for the gods choose breath; Had Death been good the gods had chosen Death." (Sappho) Life after death is not a vacation. The world of the living seems to be too tempting for the dead to let it be. On Kitka?s life a shadow of the marble-slab that had killed her mother was cast. After years of alienation a time comes to encounter the real self. Facing adulthood gets more complicated when dead and alive family members, an enigmatic fortune-teller and a first love all try to interlope into her private affairs. |
