| Abstract | Tato práce pojednává o charakteristikách hry a sazby žesťové sekce v symfonickém orchestru a big bandu. Hlavním účelem je shrnutí významu použití této sekce v daném uskupení, což se opírá o vysvětlení nástrojových možností, metodik hry i zvukových charakteristik. Z těchto hledisek je dále vycházeno při instrumentační analýze vybraných příkladů, které rozšiřují již představené možnosti využití této sekce. Cílem této práce je tak přiblížení dané problematiky a to jak z pohledu skladatele (čerpajícího z instrumentačních analýz, vlastních poznatků a odborné literatury), tak i z pohledu interpreta (čerpajícího z vlastních zkušeností získaných hrou v obou uskupeních). Oba pohledy přitom v práci nejsou rozděleny, ale jen přirozeně doplňují nasbírané poznatky. |
| Translation of abstract | Characteristics of instrumentation and playing the brass instruments are the main theme of this bachelor thesis. I will clarify the connotation of this section in symphony orchestra and big band which relates to the instrument possibilities, methodology of playing and tone characteristics. This aspects are used to the instrumentation analysis of chosen examples which extends mentioned descriptions. The introduction of this subject matter is the main goal of this thesis. The composer view will be comprised as well as the brass player view. The instrumentation analysis, specialised literature and my own composer-view and player-view experiences are the main sources which I have drawn from. Both kinds of views aren´t divided but rather interconnected. |
