AbstractBecause of the conflict that took place in Cyprus between the Turkish ? Cypriot and the Greek ? Cypriot community in the period 1963-1974, still exist abandoned Turkish- Cypriot villages in the south of the island where the Greek- Cypriots live. The series ?Home Lighting? is an attempt to combine the abandonees with the electric light, an electric light that connotes the human presence and to create a context of contradiction between the real and the unreal.
