| Abstract | Tato diplomová práce je věnována tanečnímu studiu Contemporary – prostor pro tanec, které sídlí v Praze na náměstí Míru. Úvod práce krátce mapuje historii pojmů tance před vznikem tanečního stylu contemporary dance. Větší část práce je zaměřena na historii, vizi, akce pořádané tanečním studiem, ale také na lektory a lekce, které se zde vyučují nebo vyučovaly. Závěr popisuje nově vzniklou platformu Contemporary Theatre, která dává mladým studentům a choreografům příležitost se v tanci zdokonalit a prezentovat se. |
| Translation of abstract | This diploma thesis is dedicated to dance studio Contemporary — space for dance which is located at náměstí Míru in Prague. The introduction maps out the history of dance which preceded the establishment of the contemporary dance style. The body of the thesis covers the history, visions and events organized by the studio, as well as the description of lessons and teachers which are or used to be taught in the studio. The conclusion contains the description of the Contemporary Theatre — a newly emerged platform which enables students and choreographers to improve their dancing skills and gain more confidence while performing. |
