| Abstract | Tato práce se zabývá spojením science fiction žánru v dokumentární kinematografii a relativními hranicemi pojmu dokumentární film. První polovina práce stručně nastiňuje diskuzi a historii vývoje pojmu dokumentární film. Jedná se hlavně o vymezení důvodů, proč je tento termín problematický a co jsou hlavními úskalími jeho definic. Následně se práce zabývá historií spojení science fiction žánru s dokumentární formou a obsahem. Druhá polovina pak analyzuje film Wernera Herzoga - The Wild Blue Yonder (2005), z formální a žánrové stránky se snaží ukázat, proč lze tento film považovat za dokumentární a co jsou jeho hlavní dokumentární aspekty. Cílem práce je tedy popis a zamyšlení se nad hybridními žánry, které spojení science fiction s dokumentárním filmem vytváří. |
| Translation of abstract | This thesis deals with fusion of sceince fiction genre and documentary cinema. First half of the thesis is a brief summary of discussion and history of the evolvement of the term documentary. Mostly, it specifies different reasons why is this term problematic and what are it’s main difficulties. Further, this part talks about history of connection between science fiction and documentary form and content. Second half analyses the movie from Werner Herzog - The Wild Blue Yonder (2005) and is trying to show, why could this film be considered a documentary and what are it’s main documentary features. The aim of this thesis is therefore a description and consideration of hybrid cinema, which is created by combining science fiction and documentary. |
