| Abstract | Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl vysledovat sémantické a syntaktické znaky sitcomového žánru v českém seriálu Kosmo z roku 2016. V první části je napřed představen sémanticko-syntaktický přístup k žánru Ricka Altmana a posléze stanovena obecná sémantika a syntaxe sitcomového žánru. V rámci samotné žánrové analýzy Kosma je sledováno, do jaké míry seriál sitcomové znaky naplňuje a k čemu případné odchylky od sitcomového žánru slouží. Z analýzy vyplývá, že přestože tvůrci pracovali s výraznými sitcomovými prvky, seriálu dominuje satirický žánr, který znemožňuje naplnění sitcomové syntaxe. |
| Translation of abstract | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to discover the semantic and syntactic features of the sitcom genre in the Czech television series Kosmo from the year 2016. The first part begins with the presentation of the semantic/syntactic approach to genre established by Rick Altman and is followed by a general definition of sitcom’s semantics and syntax. The genre analysis of Kosmo observes to what extent are the pre-defined sitcom characteristics fulfilled and what can be derived from the possible discrepancies. The analysis ends with the conclusion that although Kosmo’s creators operated with distinct sitcom features, the satiric genre prevails and prevents the fulfilment of the sitcom’s syntax. |
